Monument comprises of two square blocks of Darney stone quarried in Northumberland. Stands on a York stone stylobate, size 12' 7½" x 5' 6" wide, 3" high. Darney stone monument 2' 9" high, length 5' . - The work of Mark Batten (sculptor). His makers mark is on the south side of the monument on the base of the east corner.
