Alexandra Rose Day c.1920
Alexandra Rose day was inaugurated in June 1912. Proceeds went to London Hospitals. The collectors are:- Rhoda Payne, Elsie Simons, Ada Bisby, Lily York, Mary Gregory, Ivy Whithead, Wyn Ditum, Nora Tebby, Hilda Kingston, Marjory. Haynes, Dorothy Warnes, Sis Gregory, Jack Eakins, Hugh Gregory, Arthur Geary. HDHS archive.
The church clock repaired and ready to be raised to the tower in July 1904.

Frederick Henry Gregory with: back - Eliza May nee Woodland, later Nurse Gregory; Arthur Gregory. front - Evelyn May (6 years old) later Dudley, then Pateman; Elsie Florence, later Miles.

Hanslope over-70s c.1929 outside the Cock
This photograph appeared in the 6 July edition of the Bucks Standard. It is thought that the occasion was an outing for gentlemen of the village who were over 70 years of age organised by Fred Belham who ran the bus service in the village from Gold Street . William and Emma were married married on 8 December 1885. This photograph is thought to have been taken on their honeymoon - note how Emma has taken off her glove to show her wedding ring. Source Daniel Punter
