| Don’t forget to look at other wills of the same period as your interest. As an example Martha Judkin’s will 1756 shows she was previously married to John Toomes, her brother was William Brown and her cousin was Gabriel Rand. Witnesses were Charles Rookes and Susanna Smith who were obviously around as well as cousin Gabriel Rand. This makes it much easier to make connections to other village people.
