In the Name of God Amen The twelvth day of October 1782 I William Hawley of Yardley Goben in the parish of Potterspurry in the County of Northampton Yeoman being in perfect mind and memory Thanks be given to God: Therefore calling unto mind the Mortality of my Body, and knowing that it is Appointed for all men once to die Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament (that is to say) Principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty that gave it, and my Body I commend to the Earth to be Buried in a Decent Christian Burial, at the Discreation of my Executor: hereafter mentioned nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the Same again, by the mighty power of god and as touching Such worldly Goods wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this Life I Give, Demise, and dispose of the Same in the following manner, and Form

First I Give to my son John Hawley my Silver Pint and Beauroe I also Give to my Grandson William Churchill ten Pounds I likewise Give to my Grandaughter Fanney Churchill ten Pounds to be paid when they come to the Age of twenty one then their share in case either of them die before they arive at the said Age of twenty one then their share to go to the other, And in Case both should die before they Arive at the said Age of twenty one then the said sums or share or shares to go to my Executors hereafter mentioned I also Give to my son George Hawley all my Household Hoods together with all Bills Bonds of what kind soever or wheresoever, to be by him enjoyed and at his own disposing I likewise Nominate and Appoint my said son George Hawley the sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly revoake and disannul all former Wills in any wise made declaring this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and Year first above written

Probate On the 4th day of January 1791 George Hawley the Executor named in the within Written Will was then at the petition of Sam Sam his Proctor sworn faithfully to fulfil the same and soforth and that the deceased at the time of his death was not possessed of a personal Estate to the amount of one hundred pounds
