Will of William Ratliff

In the name of God Amen. I William Ratliff of Yardley Gobion Mill in the parish of Potterspury in the county of Northampton Papermaker being weak of Body but of perfect mind and memory through the mercy of God, Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament; And first and principally I recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty my Creator hoping through the merits of my blessed Redeemer to have pardon and Remission of all my Sins and to Inherit everlasting Life; and as for my Wordly Goods and Estates that it hath pleased God to bless me in this I Give and Dispose of in the following manner My Will is that all my debts be paid, and to be buried in a Christianlike manner.
And first I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Ratliff one Guinea. I likewise Give to my Daughter Hannah York one Guinea, And all the Remainder of my Goods Household Furniture Stock of Paper Utensols altogether with all Bills Bonds of what kind or nature soever or wheresoever I give to my dear son John Ratliff to him and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever. I also constitute and appoint said son John the solo Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
And I do hereby utterly revoke and disambull former Wills by me heretofore made declaring this and no other to being my last Will and Testament. And do hereby set my hand and seal the third day of Jan in the Year of our Lord 1784.
