In the name of God Amen I Christopher Harris of Yardley Gobion in the County of Northampton Yeoman being ill in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praised be Almighty God for the same doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in Manner and fform following (that is to say) ffirst I commend my soul to the mercy and protection of Almighty God being fully persuaded by his holy spirit through the death and passion of Jesus Christ to obtain full pardon and remission of all my Sinns and to inherit everlasting life to which the holy Trinity One eternall Deity be all honour and glory for ever Amen And as for the worldly estate which itt hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with I thus dispose as followeth Imprimis I give and devise unto my Deare Wife Mary Harris for and during the terme of her naturall life all my lands tenements and hereditament that I purchased of John Bird and from and after her decease I give and devise the same to my Nephew Christopher Harris and the heirs of his body and as for want of such issue I give and devise the same to Mary Wingfield wife of Collonell Henry Wingfield and to her heires and Assigns for ever Item I give and devise unto my deare wife for and during the Terme of her naturall life the house and halfe acre of land with the appurtenances which I purchased of Richard Windmill and from and after her decease I give and devise the same to Henry Harris (Sonn of Captain Harris of Chelsea Colledge) and to his heirs and Assigns for ever Item I give and devise unto my said Deare wife and to her heires and Assigns for ever all other my lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever Item I give and devise unto my Deare wife all my goods cattle chatles money and personall estate whatsoever and wheresoever And I doe hereby make and ordaine constitute and appoint my said deare wife Mary Harris full and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoaking all former and other Wills by me heretofore made In Wittnesse Whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this Eleventh day of September In the ffirst yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Brittian ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith &c Annoq Dom 1727
