In the name of God Amen: June ye first 1674. I Elizabeth Smith als Caves of Yardley gobion County: Northampton Wid: being sick in body but of sound memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following ffirst I bequeath my soul to Allmighty God my Maker and Redeemer my body to ye grave in hope of a ioyfull resurrection to eternal life. My worldly goods wleath God has blessed me I dispose as followeth ffirst to my Grandchildren George Goodman and Mary Goodman I give ten pounds a peice to be paid them at ye discretion of their ffather and mother as they think most convenient. Item to ye said mary Goodman one broad piece of Gold. Item to my Brother John Bird forty shillings and to his daughter Alice 10s. Item to my sister Leake forty shillings and to her son George Leake ten shillings. Item to my sister Eliz: scrivener twenty shillings. Item to my God-daughter Mary Caves of Grafton I give ten shillings. Item to my nephew Thomas Watkins three pounds to be paid to him seven years after my decease if he live so long and occasion to my Executor no disturbance charge or trouble Item to my maid Eliz: Peake twenty shillings. Item to ye poore widows of yardly gobion half a crown apiece. Lastly all the rest of my goods and chattels undisposed of I give and bequeath to my son in law George Goodman and Elizabeth his wife and do make my said loving son sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
