In the Name of god Amen I Joseph Read victualler of yardly goebin in the county of Northampton being weak in body but of perfect and sound mind and Memory Doe make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in maner and form folowing : and first my will is that my body be Decently buried at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter folowing and furthe my will is that my Daughter Mary Read be paid out of my stock of Beere and goods the sum of five pounds of good and Lawfull money of great Britain to be paid her within twelve months after my Decease by my Loving wife Ann Read to whom I give and Bequeith all my Estate both Reall and personall paying five pounds unto my Daughter Mary as above Directed and I doe also mak my Loving wife ann Read sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament

Signed published and Declared to be the Last will and testament of Joseph Read this 19th Day of october 1731: In our presence and signed by us in the presence of the said testator
