In the Name of God Amen the last Will and Testament of Margarett Scrivener of Yardley Goboon in the parish of Potters Pery in the Countie of Northampton spinster beinge sick and weake in bodie but of good and sound Memorie doe make my Last Will and Testament this ffirst day of Aprill 1687 in Maner and forme folowing first I give and bequeith my soule to god who gave it me trusting in the Merits and sole Satisfaction of my Lord Jesus Christ to be saved and for my worldly goods that god hath Lent me I give and bequeith in manner and forme ffolowing ffirst I give and bequeith to my Brother Richard Scrivener the sum of Three poundes of good Money of England to be paid him by my Executrix hereafter named within Six Mounthes after my desease I give to my Sister Mary the wife of Thomas Smith the sum of ffortie Shillings to be paid one whole year affter my desease

I give and bequeith unto my Nephew Theophanous Stillton the sum of Three pounds to be paid him within Six Mounthes after my desease

I give and bequeith unto Ann Browne the daughter of Thomas Browne and my Neice Ann Browne his wife the sum of ffive pounds to be paid hir by my Executor within one whole year after my desease

I give unto Margarett Browne the dafter of Thomas Browne and Ann his wife the sum of ffive pounds to be paid hir ffoure years with in ffoure years Affter my desease

I give unto my Neice Ann Browne the dafter of Thomas Browne one daper Napkin and Table Cloth one fflock Bed and one Joyne Stole and one Blanket and one sheete and one pewter platter

I give unto my Neice Margarett Scrivener Browne one pewter platter one posnet and one stoole one porringer I give unto Barbara Parott halfe a Crowne I give unto Elizab[eth] Hickman halfe a Crowne to be paid them Three mounthes affter my desease I give and bequeith unto Mary the Wife of William Scott my Neece all the Rest and Residue of my goods and Chattles Howshold goods not above given as Beds and Beding Lining Bras and pewter and other Howsold goods whatsoever and doe desire to be delivered to hir within one weeke affter my desease

I give and bequeith to Mary Scott the daughter of William Scott and Mary his wife the sum of Ten pounds of good Money of England to be paid hir at the Age of Eighteene shillings years or day of Mariage which shall first Hapen and it is my will and minde that if the Childe should die or depart this Life before she Comes to have hir Legasie then the Ten pounds be given to Mary Scott the Childs Mother and it is my will and minde that the use of the said Ten pounds be paide to those that Keepe the saide Mary Scott my neice the daughter of William Scott and Mary his wife all the Rest and Residue of my Whole Estate not here above given and bequeithed my debts Legasies and ffunerall Charges beinge paide and Satisfide I give unto Thomas Browne Junior and whom I make my ffull and Sole Executor of this my Last will and testament
