In the Name of God Amen I Mary Harris of Yardley Gobyon In the County of Northampton Widow being at This Time In Good Health and of good understanding but Considering the Incertenity of Human life do make this my last Will hereby revoaking all former Wills by Me heretofore made I recommend My Soul to Almighty God hopeing for pardon and Remission of All My sins through the Mediation of our Blessed redeemer and My Body I Committ to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of My Executors hereafter Named and as for What I am posesed of I dispose thereof as follows; I Will that All Just debts I shall owe at My Decease together with My Funeral expences be paid and satisfyed ; I Give to the Minister of Potterspury One Guinea to preech my Funerall Sermon and I direct My Executors to Expend Thirty shillings In repairing the Tomb that Must be removed for Me; I Give And Devise unto My Neice Mistress Mary Weldon and to her heirs and Assigns for Ever all Those severall peices or percells of Arable land Ley ground and premises Lying In the Fields of Yardley Gobyon aforesaid Conteining Eight Acres or thereabouts and Which were purchased of One Mawby I Gve and devise to my Neice Elizabeth Horton Wife of My Executor Thomas Horton All those Ten Acres Severall peices or parcells of Arable Land Ley ground and premises lying In the Feilds of Yardley Gobyon aforesaid Containing Ten Acres or thereabouts and Which were purchased of George Goodman Clerk To Hold to the said Elizabeth Horton her heirs and Assigns for ever charged and Chargeable With the Summe of Forty pounds to be paid within Twelve Months after My decease Into the hands of My Executor for the discharge of My debts and Legacys and hereafter mentioned, I Give and devise all that My one Acre and a half of Meadow ground lying in the Parish of Hanslope In the County of Bucks Unto Hannah Winmill the Elder of Yardley Gobyon aforesaid Widow of John Winmill deceased for and during the Term of her Naturall life and from and After her decease I give and devise the Same Acre and half of Meadow to the Eldest Daughter of Christopher Harris of Hanslope aforesaid Blacksmith her heirs and Assigns for Ever; I Give and devise to My Brother Christopher Harris the Great Barn at the Upper End of the Yard In Yardley Gobyon Where I live and the little Close or Garden thereto Adjoining for and during the Term of his Naturall life and from and Imediately after his decease I give and devise the same to Thomas Horton Son of My Executor Thomas Horton his heirs and Assigns for Ever; With free liberty of Ingress and regress Way and Quiet Passage though the Yard and premises belonging to the House I Now Live In to and from the said Great Barn and Close at all Times and on all occasions I Give and Devise all that My Dwelling House In Yardley Gobyon aforesaid Wherein I Now live With the Yard Orchard stables and Two Barns and also the severall peices or parcells of Land thereto belonging Containing Six Acres or thereabouts and Which were purchased of One Boughton to My Brother Christopher Harris for and during the Term of his Naturall life and from and After his decease then Under and Subject to the Condition or proviso hereafter mentioned and charged and hereafter mention I give and devise the Said Dwelling House Yard Orchard Stable Two Barns Six Acres of Land or thereabouts to Christopher Harris of Hanslope Blacksmith his heirs and Assigns for ever; But my Will Is that the last mentioned proviso shall Imediately after My decease and for ever Continue Charged With the yearly Sume of Ten shillings to be paid Every Christmas day to the Minister of Potterspury and the Churchwarden of Yardley Gobyon and they on that day distribute Books of New Testament and Common prayer to the Poor Children of Potterspury and Yardley Gobyon at their discretion; And My Will father Is that In Case Christopher Harris of Hanslope or his heirs to whom I have given the last mentioned premises after the death of My Brother shall at any time hereafter disturb any of the Legatees or devisees In this My Will In the Enjoyment of the Lands I have respectively devised them by pretending to have a right to any part and Endeavouring ever the same In such Case I revoke the Devise to him and his heirs of the last mentioned premises and Give the Same after the death of My Brother to My Neice Mary Weldon her heirs and Assigns for Ever And My Will farther [is] that If when the said Christopher Harris of Hanslope or is heirs shall be In possession of the same premises and his Sister Grace Pointer shall be living I charge the same premises With the payment of the yearly Summe of Twenty shillings to be paid her by four Equall payments during her life And my Neice Will is that My Neice Mary Winfiel Weldon out of the Eight Acres Of Land I have hereby devised her pay to the youngest Son and Youngest Daughter of Mary Boon fifty shillings Each Within One year after My decease. I Give to Mrs Elizabeth Wills a Silver spoon; To My Cousin Norris of Newport One Guinea; to Mrs. Eleanor Hartley One Guinea; to My Cousin Elizabeth Sealy of Newport One Guinea; to my Neice Mrs. Weldon My Wedding ring and to her Daughter a Guinea to buy rings To Mrs Elizabeth Horton the Best of my Apparrell and Linnen and to Sarah Parrott Who lives with me all My Household goods and Thirty shillings and if My Money remains out of the rent due to Me at My decease and the forty pounds to be paid out of the land given to Mrs Horton after payment of My Debts and Legacys I give the Same to My Brother Christopher Harris and My Cousin Thomas Horton whom I appoint Executors of this my Will In Wittness Whereof I have to the first sheet set my hand and to the Last My hand and Seal this Nineteenth day of December In the year of our Lord One Thousand one hundred and fifty one
