In the Name of God Amen I Richard Brown of Yardley Gobion in the parish of Potters Pury in the County of Northampton Yeoman being of a Sound Mind Memory and Understanding (praised be God for the same) Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner following (that is to say) First and principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator trusting to be saved through the Merits and Mediation of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ My Body to the Earth to be decently Interred at the Discretion of my executrix whereafter named And as to my temporal estate I dispose thereof as followeth First I will that all my Just Debts (Except what is Charged on my Messuage and farm Lands) and my Funeral Expences Shall in the first place out of my personal Estate be paid and Satisfied And after Such payment made as aforesaid Then All the rest residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Effects and personal Estate Whatsoever and Wheresoever I Give and Bequeath to my Loving Wife Anne Brown And I do hereby make my said Wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoaking And Makeing Void all other Wills by me heretofore made And do Ratifye and Confirm this present Writing to be my last Will only In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Twenty Second day of July In the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty one
