In the name of God Amen this instant sondaye beinge the tenth of Aprill Ao Dm 1580 I Thomas Hoffe als backer of Yardlie gubyn in the parish of Potterspurrie als Estpurie in the Countie of Northampton Labourer beinge sicke in bodie; but of perfect memorie thanks be to god for it doe make this my Last Will and testament in maner and forme ffollowinge ffirst I bequeathe my soule to Almightie god my maker and Redemer and my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of Perie aforesaid Itm I geve and bequeath to Jane my daughter xx^s Itm I geve to my sonne John Hoffe xx^s a grey mayer colt of thage of two yeares and two buck skynes redie dressed and a platter and a pewter platter dishe Itm I geve to my said daughter Jone a platter and a pewter dyshe Itm I geve to Ales Byllinge my daughter xx^s one Loode of Woode a platter and a pewter dyshe. Itm I geve to John billinge my daughter Ales billingse sonne xij^d Itm I geve to Jone my doughter xx^s a pewter dyshe and a platter. Itm I geve to katheryn my daughter a bryndled Cowe, a Cowe bullocke black of thage of two yeares a great brasse pann counted by estimacon eight gallons, a pewter dyshe and a platter Itm I geve to my sonne Thomas Dey of Wilton in the countie of buck my buckskyn Dublett, my buckskyn coate, and my bridle and saddle Itm I geve to my said sonne Thomas Dey his children xij^s to be equallie devided amongst them Itm I geve to my godson Richard Budd vj^d Itm I geve to Jone Abrry v^s Itm I geve to Sir Thomas Saxbie curat of Potterspurie iiij^s iiij^d The Rest of my goods unbeqeathed my Debts payed and funeral discharged I geve to Murryam Hoffe als baker my wife whom I make full executrix of this my Last will and testament and I ordeyne and appoint my neighbour Thomas Scott overseer of this my Last will and testament To see it performed as above written and I geve him for his paynes iij^s iiij^d my thinge before written to the contrarie notwithstanding In witnesse whereof I have caused this my Last will and testament to be made and sette my hand and seale the daye and yeare above written Witnesses Thomas Saxbie minister Roger Budd with others
