In ye name of god amen in the yere of our lord god 1559 and the xxvi^th daye of Maye Witnessethe that I William Waddington of Yardley golben of the parishe of potterspurie Als est pury within the countie of Northampton husbandman beinge sicke of bodie and whole of mynde do make my last will and testament in manner and forme folowing ffirst I bequethe my sowle to almighte god to our lady saint mary and to all the hole company in heaven and my bodie to be buried in the church yard of Potterspurie aforesaid I bequeth vj^d reparations of the same church xij^d I bequethe to my mother iij^s iiij^d I do geve to my brethern and my sisters xij^d a pece I do gyve to my brother John my wolste dublett The residew of my goodes unbequethed I Do gyve them all to my wife and I do make her my full executrix I do make my supervisor Richard Goodman to se this my last will to be performed and he to have for his paynes taking xij^d Witness to this Sir Thomas ffolwell vicar and John ballard Robert bryttin and James Stephanson Item my mother dothe owe me of my fathers legacie iii^l xvj^s viij^d
