Occupation: House Boy at Wootton Hall**, home of Mr Charles C Becke, Northampton Borough Coroner.

**The house had been let to tenants for many years. In 1911 dry rot was found throughout the building and it was demolished. A new Hall was rebuilt nearby. This was requisitioned during World War II. Since 1947 it has been the headquarters for Northamptonshire police.
