In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Mercer of Bradwell in the County of Bucks Gent. being weak in body but of sound mind Memory and understanding praised be almighty God do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say Imprimis I commend my Soul into the hands of almighty God hopeing and assuredly believeing by and through the merits Death and passion of my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ to were obtained for pardon and Free Remission of all my sins and to inherit Eternal Life my body I commit to the Earth in hopes of a joyfull Resurrection to be decently buryed according to the discretion of my Executor or and Executrix herein after named and as touching such temporal Estate which hath pleased God to bestow on me I dispose of the same as followeth vizt. Imprimis I Will order direct and appoint that all such just Debts I shall owe at the time of my decease together with my funeral Expences be fully paid and Satisfyed Item I give unto my Daughter Mary Anne Mercer all my Lands Closes Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever Scituate lying and being in Bradwell in the said County of Bucks now in my own Possession and all my Lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever Scituate lying and being at  Tiffield in the County of Northampton after the decease of my Father in Law Mr William Marriott Item I give unto my said Daughter Mary Anne Mercer after my decease all my household Goods whatsoever except the Eight day Clock which I give to my brother Roger Mercer Item I give to my Mother Elizabeth Mercer for and during the term of her natural life all my Lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever Scituate lying and being in Weston Underwood in the said County of Bucks and from and after her decease then I give the said Lands Tenements and hereditaments in Weston Underwood to my said Brother Roger Mercer his heirs and assigns for ever But in Case my said brother Roger Mercer shall happen to dye without Issue I give the said Lands and Closes in Weston Underwood aforesaid To my said Daughter Mary Anne Mercer for and during the term of her Natural life and from and after her decease then to my Nephew Thomas Mercer his heirs and assigns for ever Item I give to my said Mother Elizabeth Mercer all my stock of Cattle Hay Corn and Implements of husbandry and personal Estate whatsoever she paying my Debts Legacys and funeral Expences and also I nominate my said Mother Elizabeth Mercer Guardian to my said Daughter Mary Anne Mercer and lastly I do nominate and appoint my said Mother Elizabeth Mercer and my said brother Roger Mercer Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me heretofore made and declare this to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this fourth day of July in the Third year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second etc. Annoq Dom 1730 Joseph Mercer signed sealed published and declared by the said Joseph Mercer the Testator for his last Will and Testament and in the presence of us who subscribed our names in his presence Mary Fuller Hannah Judkins John Gooday
