HISTORICAL SOCIETY BACKGROUND
The society was formed in 2004. A small committee got together to agree the aims of the society and how it should be run. The first committee meeting was in February 2004 and the first members meeting held in May 2004. The Society is a member of Milton Keynes Heritage Association.
AIMS OF THE SOCIETY
To develop a historical record of The Crawleys through the ages
To protect and archive the existing village records
To encourage the study of village history in our young people
To record the memories of the older village residents

MILTON KEYNES HERITAGE ASSOCIATION
North Crawley Historical Society is a member of the Milton Keynes Heritage Association.
Each year MKHA make an award in remembrance of their late Chair Robert Excell to highlight the best work completed by a heritage organisation , society or individual over the past year.
In 2025 an award was made to North Crawley Historical Society for partnership work with North Crawley Parish Council to produce heritage signage for the benefit of all visitors to the village. A cheque for £250 was presented to Terry Smith by Bill Griffiths, Director of MK Museum at the presentation ceremony at Bradwell Common for liaison work between the two organisations to achieve the result.
