Our village story – past history

The village of North Crawley consisting of some 3360 acres in various ends and including Little Crawley and close relationships with Chicheley through the Chester Family and with the village listing as Hardmead in the Domesday Book has a long and interesting history over millennium,  particularly since we have much evidence since the Norman Conquest.
