In the name of God Amen The Sixteenth day of November in the eighteenth yeare of our Soveraine Lord Kinge Charles over England etc. Annoq Dm 1642 of North Crawley in the County of Bucks yeoman beinge weake and of perfect minde and memory Thankes be given to god therefore I do make and ordaine this last will and Testament in manner and forme following Vizt That is to say First I beaqueth my soule to the eternall god that gave it mee trustinge in the meritts and passion of our blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ my alone redeemer to enioy the ioyes of heaven Next I bequeath my body to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried at the discrecon of my executor hereafter named And for my Temporall goods I bequeath in manner and forme following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my sonne Thomas Gregory All and Singular my messuage and tennements lands woods and pastures lyeinge and beinge in the parish of North Crawley aforesaid to him his heires and assignes forever And my minde is that hee shall not enter in and uppon any of the premisses to him bequeathed untill hee accomplish his full age of one and twenty yeares And alsoe it is my minde and will that my lovinge Father Bernard Gregory and my loveinge brothers Thomas Gregory and John Gregory shall have full power and authority to lett and Sett all and Singuler the premisses afore bequeathed to my sayd sonne Thomas Gregory untill hee attaine his sayd age of one and twenty yeares And that they to have and take all the issues and Proffitts which shall arise of the sayd premisses to raise such portion and portions hereafter bequeathed unto my Sonne Bernard and my daughters Anne Mary and Sarah Gregory And my minde is that they the sayd Bernard Gregory my Father Thomas and John Gregorie my brothers shall not commit or make anie wast in and uppon anie of the Timber growing in and uppon the premisses afore bequeathed to my sayd Sonne Thomas Item I give and bequeath unto my sayd Sonne Bernard Gregory the Summe of Five hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be payd unto him when hee shall attaine his full age of one and twenty yeares Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne the Summe of one hundred and fifty pounds of lawfull money of England to be payd unto her when shee shall attain her age of Eighteene yeares Item I give and bequeath unto my daughters Mary and Sarah Gregory the Summe of one hundred pounds apeece to be payd unto them when they shall attaine the Severall ages of eighteen yeares And my minde and will is that if my sonne Bernard shall depart his life before hee shall attaine  his age of one and twenty yeares That then my minde is my sayd daughters shall have one hundred pounds a peece towards increase of their portions afore to them bequeathed And the remainder to my sonne Thomas And alsoe my minde is that if any of my said daughters shall depart any of their lives before they shall attaine their Several  ages aforesayd That then their sayd portions shalbe equally devided between the Survivor and Survivours of them And my minde and will is that if the issues and proffits of all and Singular the premisses afore bequeathed to my sonne Thomas shall not amount to pay the Sayd portions afore bequeathed to my Sonne Bernard and my daughters Anne Mary and Sarah That then I doe by this my last will and Testament authorize my brothers Thomas and John Gregory to lett and Sett my Closes called Mounckes? Wood untill their sayd Severall portions shalbe fully satisffied and payd Item I give and bequeath unto my lovinge wufe Mary all my goods Cattles and Chattles unbequeathed Shee payeinge all my debts and funerall expences And alsoe maintaininge and keepeinge my Sayd Children untill they shall attaine their Severall ages And I doe appoint and ordaine my wife and my brothers Thomas and John Gregory my Joynt executors of this my last will and Testament: Memorandum I give and bequeath unto the poore of the Parish of North Crawley the Summe of Three pounds and tenn shillings to be payd at the end of one twelve moneth after my decease at the discretion of my executors Item I give and bequeath unto all my godchildren the Summe of five shillings apeece to buy them a bible Item I give and bequeath unto my Sarvants the Summe of Tenn shillings apeece Item I give unto the nurse that now nurseth my younge Childe the Summe of tenn shillings In Witnes hereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seale The day and yeare first above written The marke of Bernard Gregory: Sealed published and

This will was proved at London the two and twentieth day of February in the yeare of our Lord accordinge to the computation of the Church of England one Thousand Six hundred fifty and four Before the Judges for probate of wills and grantinge administrations lawfully authorized by the oath of Mary Gregory the relict of the sayd deceased and one of the Survivinge executors named in this last will and Testament of the sayd deceased To whom was committed administration of and Singuler the goods Chattles and debts of the sayd deceased Shee the sayd Mary Gregory beinge first sworne in due forme of lawe by vertue of a Comon well and truly to administer the Same Power beinge nevertheless reserved to make the like probate to John Gregory the other Survivinge executor named in the Sayd Will when hee shall come and in legall manner the same
