Elizabeth Neall 1729
In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Neall of North Crawley in the County of Bucks Widow being of Sound and perfect mind and memory praised be Almighty God the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Hereby revoking and makeing void all other Wills and Testaments by me formerly made and declared this only to be my last Will and Testament And First I commit my Soul unto Almighty God my Creator hoping through the meritorious Death and Passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer receive free pardon and remission of all mu Sins and my body to be decently and in Christian manner interred by my Executor hereafter named And as touching my worldly goods and Estates I give and dispose the same as followeth and First I nominate make and appoint Benjamin Neall my Eldest Son full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Item in Mind and Will is that my Said son Benjamin Shall have my Cottage or Tenement in Up End in the parish of North Crawley aforesaid with the Yard Orchard and appurtenances thereto belonging to hold to him and his Heirs and assigns for Ever Subject nevertheless to the payment of the summs of Money Legacys hereinafter given or mentioned to be given and bequeath to my two younger Sons as hereinafter mentioned Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Brandon now Wife of Thomas Brandon of North Crawley aforesaid all my wearing Cloaths and Apparell and all my Linnen whatsoever and also all my household stuff whatsoever and my mind and Will is that my Executor shall peaceably deliver all them my Said Cloaths Apparell Linnen and Household stuff to her my said Daughter within the Space of one Month next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Edward Neall the sum of Fifteen pounds of lawfull Money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my Executor within the Space of one Month next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Samuel Neall the sum of Fifteen pounds of lawfull Money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my Executor within the Space of One month next after my decease Item if it shall happen that my Money and credits and other personal Estate left after my Debts Funeral Expences and Legacys above given to my Said Daughter Elizabeth are paid and delivered shall not be Sufficent for the payment of the two Sumes or Legacys of Fifteen pounds a peice above given to my two Younger Sons Edward Neall and Samuel Neall Then and in Such Case my mind and Will is that all such Deficiencies shall be paid and made up to my Said Son Edward and Samuel out of my Said Cottage or Tenement Yard Orchard and appurtenances by my Said Son Benjamin Neall his heirs or assigns In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the Twelfth day of October in the Twelfth Year of the Reign of our King Defender of the Faith etc. Anno Docie One thousand Seven hundred Twenty Five the mark of Elizabeth Neall.
