Elizabeth Hackett 1692
In the name of God Amen Elizabeth Hackett I Elizabeth Hackett Relict and widow of Thomas Hackett late of North Crawley in the County of Bucks deceased this five and twentieth day of November in the second yeare of the Reigne of our Soverainge Lord and Lady William and Mary by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King and Queen Defender of the Faith etc. And in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety being in health of body and of good and perfect mind and memory (thanks be to God) Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following that is to say First I bequeath my Soule and spirit into the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly Father by whome of his meer[ mercy] and only Grace I trust to be saved and received into Eternall rest through the death of my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ in whose pretious blood I sett the whole and only hope of my salvation my body in hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection I committ to the Earth to be decently buried with such charges and in such place as my Executor hereafter named shall thinke good And touching the distribution of my Temporall estate I dispose of the same as followeth Imprimis I will that all such debts which I shall owe may owe unto any person or persons at the time of my decease either by Lawe or Equity be well and truly contented and paid within convenient time And after my said debts be paid and satisfied if it shall soe happen that there shall be and such due and oweing I will and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate as jewells Plate ready money goods and chattells Lands and Tenements both reall and personall unto my truely affectionate and loveing daughter Elizabeth Cooke now wife of John Cooke of Twinham Green in the parish of Chiswicke in the County of Middlesex Esqr Item I make and ordaine and appoint the said John Cooke to be full whole and onely Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I doe hereby utterly and absolutely revoake annull make void all former Will or Wills Testament or Testaments whatsoever by me in any wise heretofore made or declared And make ordaine declare and appointe this to be my last reall true last and onely Will and Testament I Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first written Elizabeth Harckett Seales signed published and declared in the presence of Cha: Done The marke of Samuell Churchill Henry Penticost The marke of Elizabeth High
