In the name of God Amen The Twenty Eighth day of December In the five and thirteenth yeare of his Majesties Raigne And in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred eighty and three I Thomas Hill of North Crawley in the County of Bucks Rector ibid. being sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory (praised be Almighty God for the same) doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator trusting to be saved by the merritts of his only sonn Jesus Christ my Lord and my body I leave to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor herein after named and appointed And as for that worldly estate which it hath pleased God to lend me I thus dispose there of And first I give & bequeath to Sarah Puckering one of the daughters of Thomas Puckering late of Hildersham in the County of Cambridge deceased the sume of fourscore pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executor herein after named within twelve moneths after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Elliston of Essex the sume of twenty pounds of lawfull English money to be paid unto him within twelve monethes after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my deare sister Sarah Wright wife of Robert Wright of Tillingham aforesaid the sume of tenn pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid to her within twelve moneths  after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto John Andrews of Hardmead in the County of Bucks husbandman my present tennant the sume of Five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid to him within twelve moneths after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto William Short Mary Arpin and Mary Miles (my now or late servants in my house) fourty shillings a peece to be paid to them within six moneths after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto William Sarrat als Leveret of North Crawley abovenamed Schoolmaster the sume of four pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid him within six moneths after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto the poor of North Crawley aforesaid the Sume of fifteene pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be distributed and given to them according to their severall needs within twelve moneths after my decease by my Executor herein after named at the discretion of him my said Executor and one of the Overeseers of the poor of North Crawley aforesaid for the time being and I doe nominate constitute ordaine make and appointe Thomas Harkett the elder of North Crawley aforesaid Esqr my full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament upon Condition that he pay all my debts legacies above given and funerall expenses And all the rest of my moneys goods and chattells and estate whatsoever that shall remaine after my said debts legacies and funerall expenses are soe paid and discharged by him as aforesaid I give and bequeath unto him the said Thomas Harkett And further my mind and will is that my said Executor shall not expend nor lay out above thirty pounds at or about my funerall in the whole And I doe herebyrevoke annull and make utterly voyd all former and other wills and testament by me made ethier by word or writing and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and years first above written Thomas Hill.
