This lecture examines the life of Burne-Jones and considers his achievements in painting and applied art. The lecturer, Alan Read, will argue that he was the most complete Pre-Raphaelite and was responsible for the movement bearing fruit and maturing into the Aesthetic Movement and Symbolism.
