The screen comprises a waist-high dado. It is richly decorated, in panels, with Gothic arches of open screen-work.
The panels were painted in the late 15th century. Originally there were figures of Christ on the Cross, St Mary and St John on top of the screen. These are now missing. The figures that are there today are twelve prophets and four saints.
