Dr Helena Chance’s talk will look at the lives of people who worked in the chair-making and related industries, and in lace-making and straw plaiting.
Part of the Chalk, Cherries and Chairs community social history project aiming to connect local people to the wildlife and cultural heritage of the Central Chilterns.
Visitors are very welcome. Entrance is £4 for non-members.
