Milton Keynes Museum will celebrate 50 years since the doors of the Museum opened to the public by offering free entry for the day.
Enjoy the music and entertainment taking place throughout the day including a taste of the wonderful events we host, look out for some Romans wandering around and some classic vintage cars. Live music will come from artists including the Wolverton Town Band and the magnificently titled shanty group Sloop Groggy Dogs who will be taking over the bandstand.
There will be lots to keep the kids entertained including mini golf, a bouncy castle and craft activities. Don your best history themed outfits and enter the fancy dress competition – for children and adults. There will be cooking demonstrations in the cottage, and an opportunity to try your hand at medieval pottery making.
