Great Linford Manor Park History Walk
Meet at Great Linford Arts Centre car park at 6.00 pm. This walk will be led by John Gosling and last about an hour. it is on made-up paths and there are only 4 steps.
Great Linford Manor Park, with its cascading ponds, Doric Seat, Ha Ha and Wilderness is an example of the English landscape garden design movement, which attempted to create an idealised pastoral view of the countryside.
Robert Excell Heritage Award
The meeting will start at 7.00 pm and will include the announcement of the winner of the first Robert Excell Heritage Award. Afterwards there will be a light buffet and drinks, finishing at 9.00 pm.
The Heritage Award is a £500 prize given annually and presented at an MKHA Members Meeting each year. The award is to be used to undertake further heritage work. This is an opportunity to highlight the best work completed by a heritage organisation, society, or individual over the past year.
