The Museum is working with folk musicians Jon Bickley, Angeline Morrison and Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne for a performance in the Museum courtyard. It will also feature the Invisible Folk Club band and the Bedford-based children’s choir, The Fusion Choir.
Led by Jon Bickley, the Grace will lead me home project combines research into John Newton’s life in Olney, his involvement in the slave trade and the abolitionist movement. This research will be translated into brand new songs written and performed by these musicians.
The cost is £4.00, which includes admission to the Museum garden. Reservation recommended.
