Grafton Regis Historians

Sunday, 12th May 2019 from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Grafton Regis Village Hall, The Lane, Grafton Regis, Northants NN12 7HW

Magnus John, employed at the Open University for 28 years, and now a resident of Sierra Leone and Milton Keynes, has published a novel set in the aftermath of the abolition of slavery, a process which took over 40 years.

Meet Magnus, hear about the momentous events and, if you like, have him sign your copy. The hall will be open from 2 pm until 6 pm. Entry is free and refreshments will be provided.

Grafton Regis is a fitting venue as, in the early 17th century, it was the home of George Clifford, 3rd Earl of Cumberland, privateer and slave trader.
