Wolverton Railway Works had a huge impact on life in South Northants and North Bucks. Mike, the last BR Manager of Wolverton Carriage Works, will explore its rise and fall, from its origins as a steam locomotive workshop, evolution to a carriage works to its subsequent decline. With the retirement of the Royal Train in 2027, he will also briefly feature the important role Wolverton had in the trains history, operation and its personnel.
