Andy Tennet’s talk will feature his father who was a Northampton man and volunteered for service in February 1940, serving through until March 1946.
In the build-up to D-Day, Andy’s father was assigned to Montgomery’s staff and as such had access to any number of historical documents, the majority of which he kept. In fact, he collected documents from the day he joined till he was discharged and these make up the bulk of the presentation.
