The Roman Town of Irchester has long been identified on the south-east bank of the River Nene, underlying the present town of Irchester
Speaker: Prof. Sarah Scott, University of Leicester, former Fellow in Social Sciences, University of Durham. Prof. Scott is co-director of the Irchester Field School, a collaborative excavation within the suburbs of the small Roman town.
