This online talk will be by Mike Corbett, former Depot Manager of The Works. The Works is the local name for the Railway Carriage Works in Wolverton. The Wolverton Works has been in existence for over 150 years and was one of the biggest employers in Buckinghamshire.
The talk will cover, why build railway facility at Wolverton? The growth of the area due to the employment offered. It includes the worst kept secret, its where the Royal Train in housed!
