Cowper & Newton Museum

Saturday, 6th September 2025 from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon
Orchard Side, Market Place, Olney MK46 4AJ

Come along on a guided walk to the south end of the town. Learn how Olney influenced a famous curate and poet. Visit William Cowper’s dirtiest and noisiest 18th century spot and then stroll through the tranquil area around John Newton’s church of St Peter and St Paul.

This is a short walk with plenty to see along the way. The route is paved but comfortable shoes are recommended. Meet your guide at the front of the Museum, setting off at 10.30 am. The tour will take about one and a half hours.

Adults £12.00. Children under 16 years free. Pay on the day.
