The Group provides a regular opportunity for local members to meet and exchange experiences and to receive encouragement and advice on their genealogical problems. Meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Methodist Church Hall, Bletchley.

The County Museum was founded by the Bucks Archaeological Society in the mid 19th century and was operated by the County Council from 1957 until 2014 when it became the Bucks County Museum Trust.

The Buckinghamshire Constabulary was set up in 1857. On 1st April 1968 it was amalgamated into the Thames Valley Constabulary.

BCS is a Registered Charity founded in 1992. It promotes the restoration of the Old Stratford and Buckingham Arms of the Grand Union Canal and the education of the public in canal history.

The Parish covers the area of Milton Keynes enclosed by the Portway, Saxon Street and Monks Way grid roads with the western boundary being the area to the west of the railway line known as Bradwell Abbey.

The Society was formed in October 2009 and meets more or less monthly. Members and non-members are very welcome. Its website has now ceased to exist, but lots of the information it contained can still be found archived on the WayBack Machine if you search for bowbrickhill.com.

Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of the World War Two code-breakers is now a vibrant heritage attraction. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted including, most importantly, those generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.

The Society organises monthly lectures, outings to places of interest and issues a newsletter. The Society successfully campaigned for the preservation of Rectory Cottages and has worked to preserve Bletchley Park. The monthly lectures are held in Rectory Cottages on the first Thursday of the month between March and June with a short break in July and August and continuing between September and November.

The North Buckinghamshire Decorative and Fine Arts Society was launched in 2009 and has now rebranded, in line with the national society, as The Arts Society North Bucks. The Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at Lovat Hall in Newport Pagnell.
