Iron Age 800BC-100AD
During the 1957 excavations prior to the building of the new secondary school, now Elizabeth Woodville School South, the archaeologists uncovered postholes and ditches of a Roundhouse settlement and some pottery dating to the late Iron Age, although only one roundhouse was excavated there were 5 roundhouses recorded on the site.
