Potterspury Village Hall, 27 Church End, Potterspury, Towcester NN12 7PX

Speaker: Tim Skelton.

Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) is one of our most distinguished architects. He designed over 700 buildings and monuments including the Cenotaph in Whitehall and Castle Drogo on the edge
of Dartmoor. Lutyens designed the Potterspury Lodge gatehouse and was involved in the extension to Potterspury Lodge.

Tim Skelton has been researching his work for thirty years and is the joint author with Gerald Gliddon of Lutyens and the Great War (2008) which looks at the architect’s extensive role in commemorating the dead of WW1.

Followed by Maltster’s Cottage with Doug Holloway.

Visitors £5, Refreshments Included.
