MKHA held a Focus on Funding workshop for MKHA members on Saturday 25th April 2026 at the City Discovery Centre.
The workshop explored the challenges of running a local heritage group, and identified financial issues and opportunities for securing further funding, to ensure their future sustainability.
The guest speaker at the workshop was Lauren Baker from Milton Keynes Community Foundation. She talked through the work of MKCF and explained the process for obtaining grants.
Representatives from Turvey History Society, North Crawley Historical Society and Deanshanger Village and Heritage Society presented different approaches to support administrative funding, and undertaking heritage projects.
