Gerald Lovell will be talking to us about the story of a village dominated over the centuries by the wood trade with 22 woodyards; yet having a parallel history of Middle Age priests, a royal hunting lodge, a WW2 Wellington Bomber Training station and post-war becoming “The Birthplace of Formula 1” and “Home of British Racing” – Silverstone.
