At precisely 10.47 am on Friday 18th July (weather and serviceability permitting) an Avro Lancaster BI PA474 from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will fly over St Mary Magdalene Church in Willen Village on the birthday of its architect, Robert Hooke, in recognition of the impact of his early scientific experimentation on contemporary aviation. Come and skywatch at the church from 10.00 to 11.30.
