This lecture is illustrated by a selection of original photographs of Ypres as it was before the outbreak of World War I. Further original photographs illustrate the same buildings after their destruction. These are finally compared with photographs taken very recently, including the lecturer’s own photographs.
Lecturer: Christopher Chanter. He has led lectures, study days and workshops, is an author of articles on restoration and a consultant on restoration to the Georgian Group.
