Cosgrove is a village in Northamptonshire about two miles north of Stony Stratford. In the past Furtho was a thriving village with its own rich history intertwined with Cosgrove’s.

PHiG holds meetings every other month (mostly on local topics). Researches and archives historical materials. Meetings are held in Potterspury Village Hall.
Founded in 1997, the Trust has studied and visited many different, parks gardens and designed landscapes, old and new, throughout the historic county, and beyond. It runs a number of summer walks throughout the year, and a series of Spring Talks at the County Museum, Aylesbury, over the winter/early spring period. It also runs occasional Seminars and Conferences. Its publication is The Bucks Gardener. The Trust’s Research and Recording group explores the legacy of historic parks gardens and other designed landscapes in the county.

Regular church services held at the Greek Ortodox Church of St Ambrosios & St Stylianos. Swinfen Harris Church Hall is available for hire. The Community’s Greek Supplementary School offers tuition in the Greek language.

The object of the Society is to produce a pictorial and factual history of Yardley Hastings based on maps, buildings, people, records, publications, family history, etc. pertaining to the history of the village.

The name Yardley meant a clearing in woodland from where yards or spars were collected. About 1160, Hugh Gobion from Northampton was granted some land at Yardley. The hamlet took on the family name to distinguish it from another Yardley (i.e. Hastings). History Group meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at Yardley Gobion Village Hall.

In 2015 a group of residents, now Woughton Heritage, got together with the aim of researching and telling the story of the Woughton-on-the-Green village and parish over the centuries.
The Society was founded in 1955 and carries out research into the history of Wolverton and the surrounding areas. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at St Mary and St Giles C of E School, Stony Stratford.
