Arts Society North Bucks
The North Buckinghamshire Decorative and Fine Arts Society was launched in 2009 and has now rebranded, in line with the national society, as The Arts Society North Bucks. The Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at Lovat Hall in Newport Pagnell.

Bletchley Archaeological & Historical Society
The Society organises monthly lectures, outings to places of interest and issues a newsletter. The Society successfully campaigned for the preservation of Rectory Cottages and has worked to preserve Bletchley Park. The monthly lectures are held in Rectory Cottages on the first Thursday of the month between March and June with a short break in July and August and continuing between September and November.

Bletchley Park Trust
Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of the World War Two code-breakers is now a vibrant heritage attraction. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted including, most importantly, those generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.

Bradwell Parish Heritage Group
The Parish covers the area of Milton Keynes enclosed by the Portway, Saxon Street and Monks Way grid roads with the western boundary being the area to the west of the railway line known as Bradwell Abbey.

Buckingham Old Gaol Museum
The Old Gaol was built in 1748 and enlarged in 1839. The Museum is an Arts Council of England Accredited Museum and the Tourist Information Centre provides everything you need for a visit to Buckingham and the surrounding area.

The County Museum was founded by the Bucks Archaeological Society in the mid 19th century and was operated by the County Council from 1957 until 2014 when it became the Bucks County Museum Trust.

Buckinghamshire Family History Society (Northern Group)

Buckinghamshire Gardens Trust
Founded in 1997, the Trust has studied and visited many different, parks gardens and designed landscapes, old and new, throughout the historic county, and beyond. It runs a number of summer walks throughout the year, and a series of Spring Talks at the County Museum, Aylesbury, over the winter/early spring period. It also runs occasional Seminars and Conferences. Its publication is The Bucks Gardener. The Trust's Research and Recording group explores the legacy of historic parks gardens and other designed landscapes in the county.

Old Stratford
The village of Old Stratford developed on both sides of the old Roman road of Watling Street, near to where it crosses over the River Ouse. Watling Street marks the boundary between the parishes of Passenham to the south and Cosgrove to the north, so that Old Stratford homes belonged to one of these two parishes in the past.

Rectory Cottages Trust
Rectory Cottages was built in 1475 - 1476 and is traditionally attributed to the family de Grey, who held the manor of Bletchley from about 1220 to 1610. It has a fine mediaeval hammerbeamed hall. Today Rectory Cottages is the village hall, used by many local societies, clubs and groups as their meeting place.

Ridgmont Station Heritage Centre
The station building is built in the distinctive Victorian Gothic ‘Cottage Orné’ style, and the restoration has won a number of awards. Facilities include the Tea Room, the original Victorian (1846) Booking Office hosting a range of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, a Gift Shop and Tourist Information Point and a meeting room for hire.

There has been a community at Simpson since Saxon times. By the 20th century Simpson was a small village with about sixty homes. With the advent of the new town of Milton Keynes, Simpson was one of the first areas to experience development and growth.

St Mary’s Church, Bletchley
The church dates from Norman times and is designated Grade I. It is largely Perpendicular in appearance, with some Decorated windows and doorways. The interior has very complete medieval fabric, good medieval roofs, the very fine tomb of Richard, Lord Grey de Wilton, and other interesting monuments.

Turvey History Society
The rich history of Turvey is being brought together for the community thanks to Heritage Lottery Fund and Turvey Parish Council funding. The Society is developing a local history website and walking tour app, featuring village voices. Volunteers are being trained in the skills they need to update the site and to make oral history recordings.

Woughton Heritage
In 2015 a group of residents, now Woughton Heritage, got together with the aim of researching and telling the story of the Woughton-on-the-Green village and parish over the centuries.
Yardley Gobion Local History Group
The name Yardley meant a clearing in woodland from where yards or spars were collected. About 1160, Hugh Gobion from Northampton was granted some land at Yardley. The hamlet took on the family name to distinguish it from another Yardley (i.e. Hastings). History Group meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at Yardley Gobion Village Hall.
