From 2015 to 2018 the Sherington Historical Society ran photographic competitions in the village. The first year, 2015, there was one competiton – Wild Sherington, and from 2016-2018 there were two competitions – Wild Sherington and Sherington: Sights and Seasons. The photos were all taken within the village boundary.
