The annual Open Day was held on Saturday 20 September 2014 in the Village Hall. The theme this year was ‘Sherington Remembers the Great War’. As usual, all the Society’s archives were also on display.

We also welcomed a visitor from Toronto, Canada by the name of June Corfield who shared her family history and links that she has in the village. June is not related to the previous rector of the same name who served in the parish, but to the Griggs, Smith, Rogers, Brown, Pettit, Feazey, Odel and Dimmock families. June gave a very interesting presentation in the Village Hall Committee Room.
