Pigot’s Directory of Buckinghamshire, 1830-1
SHERRINGTON, is an unimportant village and parish, in the same hundred as Newport; two miles from that town, on the road to Olney, from which it is three miles distant. In 1821 the number of inhabitants in the parish was 796.
