First The Thomas Family: Rosie the Fairy
Second The Temple Family: Woody & Co
Third Sherington Pre-school: Peter Rabbit

There were 15 entries from the public this year plus 3 more not judged. ‘Old Bob’ by Phil Smith, a ‘Witch’ by Wendy Haynes and an entry by Mark Vale. Thank you to every one who took part from the Committee of Sherington Historical Society.

The judge Dianne Sutton from the MK Heritage Association, said “It was a very hard decision to pick a winner” but she “decided to award the accolade to a traditional rather than one of a modern interpretation. She found the many different interpretations of scarecrow very interesting. The “Characters” were excellent, especially the small details often very well observed. The naming of many entries showed tremendous thought”.
