Moving from the Choir Stalls into the Chancel, the Altar and East Window are immediately in front of you. The chandeliers above the altar are to the memory of the Fleet family, well known in the village. They echo the style of the one hanging in the nave.

The East Window

The east window above the altar is an early fourteenth century opening but has nineteenth century tracery and twentieth century glass. If you compare the glass in this window with the Victorian glass in the South Aisle windows you can see how poor the colours, especially the reds and blues, of Victorian glass can be.
