This indenture made this twenty second day of October in the sixteenth year of the reign of our soverign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great
Britain France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth and in this year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy
six between James Carey of Aylesbury in the county of Bucks breeches maker and Mary his wife of the one part and Thomas Wheatley of
Olney in this county of Bucks maltster of the other part witnesses that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five pounds of good
lawfull money of Great Britain to them in hand and truly paid by the said Thomas Wheatley this receipt whereof they the said James Carey and Mary his wife do hereby confess and acknowledge
and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof do hereby acquit exonerate and forever discharge the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs executors administrators and every of them by these presents they
the said James Carey and Mary his wife have and each of them hath granted bargained sold aligned *** released and confirmed and by these presents do and each of them doth full***
and absolutely grant bargain sell alien*** off release and confirm unto the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns forever all that cottage or tenement with the yard orchard
commons and hereditaments thereunto belonging situate and being in Olney aforesaid and now in the several tenures or occupations of John Pearson, Thomas Coburn their undertenants or assigns the
house and ground now or late a William Griggs lying and being on the south side and the houses and ground of Mary Harrison and Widow Alsop on the north side thereof and fronting the common
street of Olney aforesaid on the west part thereof together with all houses outhouses edifices buildings yards orchards gardens barn sides hedges ditches trees mounds wood underwood ***
common or pasture profits commodities hereditaments appurtenances whatsoever to the aforesaid cottages or tenements and premises or any or either of them belonging or in any ways appertaining
or accepted reputed taken or known as part parcel or member of the same or any part thereof and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders heirs issues and yearly and other profits of all
and singular the same premises and also all the estate right title interest use possessions profit properly claim and demand whatsoever both in the law and equity or otherwise howsoever of them the
said James Carey and Mary his wife of in and to the same cottages or tenements or any part thereof together with all deeds evidences and writings whatsoever touching or in anywise concerning
the aforesaid premises or any part of to have and to hold the aforesaid cottage or tenement and all and singular other the premises hereby granted bargained sold aligned
**** released and confirmed or meant mentioned or intended not to be their and every of their appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs
and assigns to and for sole only proper use and behalf of him the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns forever and to and for none other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said
James Carey and Mary his wife do hereby for themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns and for every of them covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Thomas
Wheatley his heirs and assigns and to all and with every of them by these presents in manner following that is to say that for and not standing any act matter deed or thing whatsoever by them
the said James Carey and Mary his wife or either of them at any time or times heretofore committed done or suffered to the contrary they the said James Carey and Mary his wife now at
the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents now is and standeth lawfully rightfully solely and absolutely seized of and in and singular this aforesaid cottage or tenements and
premises hereby granted and released or meant mentioned or intended so to be with their and every of their appurtenances of and in a good perfect and indefeasible estate of inheritance
in full simple in possession without any manner of conditions limitations use trust and power of revocation or any other matter cause or thing whatsoever have by to alter change
charge revoke or determine the same and also that they the said James Carey and Mary his wife now have in themselves good rightful power and lawful and absolute authority
to grant assure release and convey the aforesaid premises with this appurtenances unto the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns according to this true intent and meaning of
these presents and also that he the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter at all times hereafter lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold
use occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the aforesaid premises hereby granted and released or meant mentioned or intended so to be and every part and parcel thereof with and every of their
appurtenances without this lawful *** suit trouble interruption or denial of or by them the said James Carey and Mary his wife their heirs and assigns or any other person
or persons *** soever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him their or either of them or either of them fixed acquitted and discharged of and from all other estates titles troubles charges
and **** whatsoever and **** that the said James Carey and Mary his wife their heirs and assigns and all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or
to claim by from or under him them wither or any of them shall and will at all times hereafter upon the reasonable request and at the proper costs and charges in the law of the said Thomas
Wheatley his heirs or assigns do make acknowledge *** suffer finish and execute or cause or procure to be done made acknowledged levied suffered finished and executed all and every such
further and other lawful and reasonable act and acts thing and things devise and devises conveyances and assurances in the law whatsoever for the further better more perfect and absolute
assuring and confirming of all and singular the aforesaid premises hereby granted and released or meant or mentioned or intended so to be with their appurtenances
unto the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns or unto such other person or persons as he or they shall direct or appoint be the same by fine or
fines deed or deeds enrolled** or not enrolled** or otherwise howsoever as by the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs or assigns or his or their counsel learned
in the law shall be reasonably devise advise or required all which said further assurances and assurances so or in any other way or manner to be had
and levied or hereafter to be had and levied by and between the said parties to these presents or any of them of and concerning the said cottages or
tenements and premises hereby granted and released shall be and *** and is and are hereby and by all the said parties to these presents declared
and agreed to be and *** to and for the sale *** proper use and behoof of him the said Thomas Wheatley his heirs and assigns forever and to and for none
use intent or purpose whatsoever in witness whereof the said parties first above named to these presents have hereunto set their hands and seal the
day and year above written
