In memorandum that the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eight and in the seventh year of the reign of our sovereign Lady Anne Queen of Great Britain France and Ireland defender of the faith. I Samuel Freeman of Olney in the county of Bucks **** of reasonable health of body but in sound and disposing memory do make ordain this my last will and testament in manner following revoking hereby all former wills and testaments by me formerly made that is to say I do give and devise unto Susanna Freeman my now wife for and during her natural life all that my cottage or tenements with the yards orchards and hereditaments thereunto belonging situate and being in Olney aforesaid in the several occupations of use the said Samuel Freeman, William Keyes and Anne Knight and from and after the decease of Susanna my said wife give and devise the same cottage or tenements with the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto all the children of me the said Samuel Freeman that shall be living at the time of the decease of Susanna my said wife and to their respective heirs for ever to be equally divided between them share and share alike and incase all my children shall die and depart this life before the death of Susanna my said wife that then and in such case I give and devise my said cottage or tenements and premises with the hereditaments thereunto belonging unto such of any grandchildren that shall be then living and their respective heirs forever to be equally divided between them in case my said children shall have any issue at the time of their decease and I do so give and bequeath unto Susanna my said wife all my goods chattels and household **** whatsoever the applying of my debts and discharging of my funeral expenses and **** hereby make and ordain Susanna my said wife full and sole executrix of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Samuel Freeman have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written
