This indenture made the ninth and twentieth day of September in the tenth year of the reign of our soverign Lord George the second by the grace of God of Great
Britain, France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth and in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty six between
Susannah Pettitt of Olney in the county of Bucks Widow and John Petttitt her son now dwelling in Brayfield in the county of Bucks aforesaid of the one part and Peter
Carey of Olney aforesaid Butcher of the other part WITNESSETH that for and in consideration of the sum of thirty pounds of good and lawfull money of Great
Brittain to them or one of them in hand paid by the consent of the other at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Susannah Pettitt and John
Pettitt do hereby severally acknowledge and themselves here with fully satisfied and there of and of and from every part and parcel thereof do acquit exonerate
and forever discharge the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns and every of them by these presents save and each of them hath demised granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do and each of them doth demise grant bargain and sell unto the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns all that cottage*** or
Tenement with the yard orchard commons and hereditaments thereunto belonging situate and belonging in aforesaid and now or late in the several occupations of John Griggs Widow
Saunders and the said Susannah Pettitt the house and ground late of Susanna Sybthorpe lying and being on the south side and the house and ground of John Hardwick on the north side thereof
and fronting the common street of Olney aforesaid on the West part thereof together with all houses outhouses edifices buildings yards orchards gardens backsides ditches hedges trees fences mounds
wood underwood commons and common of pasture profits commodities hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the aforesaid cottage and tenement and premises or any or either of them
belonging or in anywise appertaining or accepted reputed taken or known, as part parcel or member of the same or any part thereof and the reversion and reversions remainder and
remainders of all and singular the same premises also all the estate right title interest else’s possession property claim and demand whatever either in law or equity or otherwise of
them the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt or either of them of in and to the said premises and every or any part thereof together with deeds writings and evidence whatsoever touching
or in anywise concerning*** the same premises and all other the said tenements and hereditaments of them the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt herein above mentioned to have
and to hold the said cottage or tenement commons and all and singular other the above granted or meant mentioned or intended to be hereby demised and granted promises with
their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns from the day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full and
and term of one thousand years from thenceforth next ensuing and fully to be completed and ended without impeachment of or for any manner of west*** provided always
and upon conditions and nevertheless that the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt or either of them their or either of their heirs executors administrators or assigns or and there to
and shall well and truly pay or caused to be paid unto the said Peter Carey his executors administrators or assigns the full and just sum of one and thirty pounds and ten shillings
of good and lawful money of Great Britain in manner and form following (that is to say) the sum of fifteen shillings part thereof on and upon the nine and twentieth day
of March next ensuing the day of the date of these presents and said sum of thirty pounds and fifteen shillings residue thereof or upon the nine and twentieth day of
September which shall be in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty seven without any deductions or abatement for taxed or otherwise howsoever that
then and from henceforth these presents and all the form hereby granted shall cease determine and utterly void any thing herein contained to the contrary in anywise
notwithstanding and the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt for themselves severally and respectively and for their several and respective heirs executors administrators
and assigns do covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns and to and with every or them by these presents in
manner and form following (that is to say) that they the said Susanna Pettitt and John Pettitt their or one of their heirs executors or assigns or same or one of them
shall and will well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Peter Carey his executors administrators or assigns the said sum one and twenty pounds and ten shillings of
good and lawful money of Great Britain at or upon the days or times above mentioned for the payment of the same without any deduction or abatement for taxes or otherwise
how so ever and also in case and default shall be made of or in the payment of the sum of one and thirty pounds and ten shillings or any part thereof at the days or times
aforesaid that then and at all times afterwards shall and may be lawful to and for the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns to enter into have hold use
occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the before demised and granted promises with their and every of their appurtenances during all of the rest and residue of the aforesaid term of
one thousand by these presents granted without the lawful lett*** suit trouble or denial of or by them and said Susanna Pettitt and John Pettitt or either of them their or either of their
heirs assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever that fixed and discharged of and from all manner of former and other estates charges titles troubles jointures
dowers and thirds and of and from all manner of incumbances whatsoever at any of the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt their or one of their heirs or assigns theretofore committed or done or wittingly or willingly suffered or asserted unto by the said Susanna
Pettitt and John Pettitt or either of them or by any other person or persons whomsoever and further that if default shall happen to be made of or in the payment of the said sum of
one and thirty pounds and ten shillings or any part thereof at the days or times in the proviso above mentioned for the payment of the sum that then and in such case the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt and their respective heirs and assigns and all and every other person and persons whomsoever claiming or to claim any estate right title or interest in the same
promises or any part thereof shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter during the term aforesaid at the request of the said Peter Carey but at the proper costs and
charges in the law of the said Sussana Petttitt and John Pettitt their or one of their heirs or assigns do make acknowledge levy suffer finish and execute or cause to be done made
acknowledged levied finished and executed all and every such further and every other lawful and reasonable act or acts thing or things device or devices assurances and conveyances in the law
whatsoever for the further better and more perfect assuring sure making settling and confirming of all and singular aforesaid promises and every part thereof with their and

and every of their appurtenances unto the said Peter Carey his executors administrators and assigns for and during all the then rest and residue of the said form hereby granted or mentioned
to be granted as by the said Peter Carey his executors administrators or assigns or his or their counsel learned in the law shall be reasonably devised advised or required and lastly
it is actually covenanted and agreed upon by and between the parties to these presents that the said Susannah Pettitt and John Pettitt their heirs and assigns shall and
lawfully may have hold use occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the aforesaid premises and take and receive the rents and profits thereof until default be
made in the payment of the said sum of one and thirty pounds and ten shillings or some part thereof in manners above said without rendering any account thereof unto the said Peter
Carey his executors administrators or assigns in *********
